On May 13th at The Shop in Bloomfield, the founding fathers of freepunk, Brochu, are finally reuniting after a long hiatus due to injuries. Not only will the beautiful noise of fully improvised and unrehearsed post-punk music blow your mind in person, but this reunion is also the release of the EP “Heel,” which will blow your mind repetitively like a looping GIF of that scene from Scanners. The EP will feature both sound-room and audience recordings of select songs from the first Brochu show, songs that will never be played again.
